i think the pictures and video say it all for this night…fun!!!
night started off a bit strange since i was the only one confused about the start time of the party. being late to a VIP reception is not the best way to start:) but bubbles were poured and fun people were met and the night got underway just fine.
with my big 35 birthday coming up rapidly, i think i will look back on this and just pretend it was the best birthday party i ever had 
i can’t thank all of my chef friends enough for being a part of the night. i am pretty sure the most talented group of chefs you can get in all of chicago was there, along with my good friend rusty hamlin who flew in to cook with us.
and i have to admit that their ‘interpretations’ of dishes in the book kicked my recipes’ asses.
